The OUAZ women's basketball team will wrap up its season with a trio of games this week. OUAZ will host SAGU American Indian College for the third time this season on Tuesday before playing a back-to-back with rival Arizona Christian. The Spirit will be playing for pride this week, as they are no longer eligible for the postseason at either the NAIA or NCCAA level.

The Spirit are looking to break a six-game losing streak, with the team's last win coming against SAGU American Indian College on January 26. OUAZ has scored 100 points twice this season, both against the Warriors, including the 100-55 victory in the last meeting.

The season opened for OUAZ with a close loss to Arizona Christian on December 15. After a slow start, the Spirit chipped away and kept the game within one possession for most of the fourth quarter before ultimately falling 62-56.

It was a record-breaking performance for OUAZ when they met with ACU on the fourth day of 2020 last season. The Spirit had two players take over the 1-2 spots on the single-game points record, highlighted by Natasa Radovic's 38, and OUAZ picked up its first ever win over the Firestorm, 93-88.

OUAZ continues to dominate the offensive glass, as they rank seventh in the NAIA in offensive rebounds per game, grabbing 17.4 each contest. The Spirit are also getting it done on the defensive end, ranking eighth in the NAIA in blocks per game, and lead the GSAC in steals per game.

Sharing the ball has not been an issue for the Spirit, as they lead the conference in assists per game (min. four games played). They are also knocking down the free ones, ranking second in the GSAC with a 72.7% rate from the charity stripe.

Logan Koski has been a force inside defensively, ranking as the best shot blocker in the conference. She averages 1.78 rejections a game, almost half a block better than second place.

Radovic has been contributing a lot defensively as well, leading the Spirit in steals. She also ranks second in the conference in that category, as well as fourth in the conference in rebounds per game.

No fans will be allowed in attendance for the two games at Faith Arena this week. Live stats of both games can be found at ouazspirit.com/sidearmstats/wbball/summary, and live video will be found at portal.stretchinternet.com/ottawaaz/.
