The OUAZ women's basketball team is hoping to find its groove at home just a week after nightmare shooting performances at William Jessup when they host San Diego Christian Friday and Saturday. The two-game series at Faith Arena is critical to the Spirit's hopes of a postseason berth.

Success has not been hard to come by when matching up with the Hawks, as OUAZ is 5-0 all-time against San Diego Christian. The Spirit have won three of those matchups by double-digits, including a 65-51 victory at Faith Arena on February 6 of last year.

Natasa Radovic continues to be the driving force behind the team, averaging 14.9 points and 8.4 rebounds a game. Both of those numbers are top five in the GSAC in its respective categories.

Radovic is also putting together good defensive stats as well, ranking fourth in the conference in blocks per game (1.25), and third in steals per game (3.0). Her steals-per-game number is 21st in the NAIA.
Logan Koski and Elizabeth Garcia have contributed defensively as well. Koski ranks first in the conference, and 27th in the nation, with 1.75 blocks per game. Garcia is just behind Radovic in SPG, ranking fourth with 2.86.

Sedona Anderson has led an impressive crop of freshmen for the Spirit this season. She is averaging 11.4 points per game by being one of the NAIA's top three-point shooters, ranking 12th with a 47.5% rate from beyond the arc.

As a team, the Spirit are blocking its opponents at the fifth best rate in the NAIA, averaging six swats a game. OUAZ battles on the offensive glass as well, averaging 17.6 offensive boards a game, ranking 8th in the nation.
