Friday saw OUAZ women's basketball put together one of its worst shooting performances, and it did not get any better on Saturday afternoon. OUAZ made just 15 field goals in its 68-40 loss at William Jessup in Rocklin, Calif.

No Spirit player scored in double digits as the team starts 0-4 in conference play for the first time in program history. Elizabeth Ortwine and Landyn Lovelady led the team in scoring with six points apiece.

While it was a tough day from the floor for Natasa Radovic, she led the team with seven rebounds. The Spirit were hustling on the glass as a team, with 12 of the 13 players to check into the game for OUAZ grabbing a rebound.

William Jessup's Paige Winter was the only player to score in double digits on Saturday, finishing with 18 points. The Warriors outscored OUAZ 32-13 in the second and third quarters.

The Spirit will return home for a pivotal two-game series against San Diego Christian next Friday and Saturday, looking to pull themselves back into the GSAC East race.
