The second night of a back-to-back can slow teams down, but that was not the case Saturday night for the OUAZ women's basketball team. The Spirit put together its second-best offensive performance in program history during a 103-67 win over SAGU American Indian College at Faith Arena.
OUAZ fell just seven points short of the program record, which was set in the 2018-2019 season.
Natasa Radovic was the game's leading scorer, racking up 29 points in 26 minutes while shooting 12-15 from the floor.
Radovic also grabbed 12 rebounds to collect her third consecutive double-double to start the season.
Bryn O'Rourke added 17 points and seven rebounds, including 3-6 beyond the arc.
A total of five OUAZ players finished in double-digit point totals, including four starters.
Elizabeth Garcia added seven assists and seven rebounds to go along with eight points.
It was a team effort on the glass tonight, as seven players finished with three or more rebounds. Ten players to check into the game for the Spirit had at least one board during their time on the floor.
The Spirit will now gear up for conference season, as they are set to host The Master's at Faith Arena. Friday's game is set to start at 4:30pm, with Saturday's tip-off scheduled for 11:30am.
