Spirit Tailgate Scheduled for May 16

OUAZ Athletics is excited to announce Spirit Tailgate presented by Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House to be held virtually on Saturday, May 16. The all-day event will take place through multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and online at OUAZSpirit.com. With scheduled appearance from all OUAZ Athletics' varsity sports, Spirit Tailgate will provide content and insight into the lives of our coaches, staff, student-athletes, traditions, and more.
 
Spirit fans are encouraged to tailgate all day and join the celebration of the Spirit. Wear your OUAZ gear, grab your favorite tailgate foods, and celebrate your OUAZ fandom in a fun and new way. Contests will be announced throughout the day allowing fans to get involved and win prizes.
 
Spirit Tailgate will begin at 11 a.m. MST with the release of the Spirit Tailgate Cookbook. Fans can submit their favorite tailgate recipes to be featured in the cookbook here. A vote will take place featuring all fan recipe submissions during the Spirit Tailgate with the winner receiving an OUAZ prize pack.

During the Spirit Tailgate, OUAZ coaches and staff members will be joining your tailgates via Zoom. Just complete the form here to make a request to have a member of the OUAZ staff virtually join your tailgate for 10-15 minutes.
 
This will also be your chance to ask any of the OUAZ Athletics' staff or coaches your questions to be answered during the Spirit Tailgate. Fans can submit their questions here and look for the answers during the day's events.
 
A full schedule of events will be announced the week of the event. Among the planned events include:
  • Content from current student-athletes and coaches from every team.
  • Release of the Spirit Tailgate Cookbook. Share your favorite tailgating recipe with all Spirit fans for inclusion in the Spirit Tailgate Cookbook alongside OUAZ coaches and staff. Submit today online at OUAZSpirit.com/recipe (deadline is May 13 at 5 p.m. MST).
  • OUAZ coaches and staff available to join your Spirit Tailgate virtually through Zoom. Requests taken online at OUAZSpirit.com/zoomrequest (deadline is May 13 at 5 p.m. MST).
  • OUAZ Athletics Q&A. Members of the OUAZ staff will answer questions that are submitted online at OUAZSpirit.com/question (deadline is May 13 at 5 p.m. MST).
  • Contests throughout the day with prizes from OUAZ Athletics, Bon Fire Craft Kitchen and Tap House, and more.
  • Re-Air of top game broadcasts from the 2019-20 season.
Throughout the day, Bonfire Craft Kitchen and Tap House will offer a 10% discount off all orders if you mention Spirit Tailgate when ordering. Receive an additional 10% off your order by wearing your OUAZ gear when at the restaurant.
