The OUAZ women's soccer team looked to end conference play on a positive note, but could not find the result they needed on Saturday afternoon.

Kristen Osuna's 55' goal was all Antelope Valley needed to take down the Spirit in Lancaster, Calif. The loss drops the Spirit to 7-3 on the season.

The game was even in most categories, as the teams tied in shots (14) and saves (5). The Spirit had plenty of chances as well, finishing with five shots on goal and getting four corner kicks.

The Spirit will have the next 12 days off before they start Golden State Athletic Conference play. The Spirit will kick off the conference season when they host San Diego Christian at Spirit Field on October 3.
