SAN DIEGO – The OUAZ women's tennis team saw its weekend road trip come to a close with a 7-2 loss at No. 16 San Diego Christian on Saturday in Golden State Athletic Conference action.
 
OUAZ (4-12, 3-6 GSAC) failed to win any matches as their two points came by default wins.
 
Julia Ortiz and Hana Papaco pushed the No. 1-ranked pair of Sarah Urbanek and Nadine Geschke to an 8-5 loss in the No. 1 doubles match.
 
Papaco hung around with 23rd-ranked Aleksand Emelianova in the No. 2 singles match before falling 2-6, 5-7.
 
The Spirit will be back in California next week for a pair of GSAC matches starting on Friday at Marymount California.
