SURPRISE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's tennis team saw its losing streak reach seven straight in a 7-0 loss to Dixie State – a NCCAA Division II team – on Friday morning at the Surprise Tennis Complex.
 
Dixie State (6-1) took the doubles point by sweeping all three matches by a score of 6-0.
 
OUAZ (1-11) wasn't able to secure any points in singles as the visitors won all six of those matches as well.
 
Julia Ortiz won four games in losing the No. 1 singles 2-6, 2-6. Bianca Amaya dropped the No. 4 singles match 0-6, 4-6. Michelle Fournier would take two games in her No. 3 match while Jocelyn Torres won a game in the No. 5 match.
 
The Spirit are back in action on Saturday when they host William Jessup on a Golden State Athletic Conference dual at 1 p.m. at the Surprise Tennis Complex.
