GLENDALE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's tennis team remained winless on the season after falling to Hope International 7-2 on Saturday in a Golden State Athletic Conference dual at the Paseo Racquet Club.
 
OUAZ is now 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in GSAC matches. Hope International moved to 1-3 and 1-1 with the win.
 
The Spirit earned both of their points in singles action. Julia Ortiz won her match 10-8 in a third-set tiebreaker to rally back from dropping the opening set. This is her second win of the season in singles play.
 
Michelle Fournier recorded the second point for OUAZ by winning her match 6-2, 6-1. The win is her first of the season.
 
The Spirit will take to the road next week where they will face William Jessup in a GSAC match on Friday in Rocklin, California. They will then play at Fresno Pacific on February 23 in a non-conference dual.
