THIS WEEK FOR MEN'S SOCCER
The Spirit open up Golden State Athletic Conference play this week when they take on San Diego Christian on Thursday and Hope International on Saturday. Both games have an 8pm scheduled kickoff.

AGAINST THE OPPOSITION
The Spirit have won both games against San Diego Christian, picking up a 4-0 win in 2017 and an 8-1 win in 2018.

OUAZ has split the two games it has played against Hope International. The Spirit lost the first ever matchup 4-2 in 2017, but got redemption in 2018 with a 3-1 win

SPIRIT NOTES
This will be the first time both San Diego Christian and Hope International visit Spirit Field.

Cristian Gennaro ranks first in the conference and tied for seventh nationally in game winning goals with three. He is also first in the GSAC in shots on goal (19), as well as ranking second in the conference in goals (10) and points (22).

The Spirit outscored their opponents 41-10 in non-conference play. They also recorded 32 assists to its opponents' five.

OUAZ is good at finding the target as well. The team holds a 58.1 shooting percentage, and recording 97 shots on goal in its first ten games.

UP NEXT
The Spirit will host cross-town rival Arizona Christian on October 12 at Spirit Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 8pm.
