Box Score IRVINE, Calif. – The OUAZ women's basketball team picked up another road victory on Thursday as they defeated Westcliff 73-58 in the second of a four-game road swing.
 
OUAZ is now 4-0 on the season and they have tied a single-season school record with their fourth straight win.
 
Alexis Smith led the Spirit with 15 points in the win while Bailey Osmer added 14. Elizabeth Garcia tallied a game-high six steals.
 
"I want to give credit to Westcliff for how well they played today," OUAZ Head Coach Milee Karre said after the game. "We learned playing in the road, and especially back-to-back, is always difficult. Eli Garcia and Jorie Mayfield were our key factors today as they refused to let us fail. In the end we played through a bad shooting night to get a win."
 
OUAZ will now head to Orem, Utah where they will face Utah Valley in an exhibition game for the Spirit on Saturday at 3 p.m.
