ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Ottawa University Arizona women's basketball team claimed their fourth win in their last six games on Sunday evening, by defeating the Bethesda University Flames by a final of 58-57.

"Road wins are tough to come by against anyone and we stole that one today," said OUAZ head women's basketball coach
Milee Karre. "Credit to Alexis (Smith), who went and made a play to hit a huge shot for us. Bethesda played super hard and never let us pull away."

Bethesda struggled to shoot once again, finishing the quarter 31% from the field and 28% from beyond the three-point arc. OUAZ claimed a slim 43-42 lead heading into the fourth and final quarter.
Â
It was a back-and-forth quarter for the Spirit and Flames, as the game came down to the wire. OUAZ outshot Bethesda 41% to 35% from the field in the quarter. The game came down to the final ten seconds, when Bethesda was able to convert on a pair of free-throws to take a one point lead. Coming out of an OUAZ timeout,
