Game one of the West Coast Baptist College game started with both teams working to take the lead. Game two West Coast Baptist attempted to jump ahead early with a 4-2 lead. The Spirit came back to take the lead using their offense to force errors, earn points, and finish the game 25-22. Game three the Spirit started out with the lead, but it was the Eagles who won the lead and the game 25-20. Game four continued similarly to game three, with the Eagles gaining the lead and capitalizing on OUAZ errors to win the game 25-16. The final set of the match the Spirit didn't waste any time and took the momentum using well timed service aces by Jessica Youngberg (JR/Peoria, AZ) and using their offense to dominate and win the game and the match 15-8.

Later that day, OUAZ competed against Mills College. Game one started with errors from Mills to give OUAZ the lead. The Spirit went on to use their offense to win the game 25-10. Game two followed similarly with the Cyclones putting up more of a fight winning more plays to earn 16 points to the Spirit's 25. In the final game the Cyclones worked harder to earn more kills and points, but it wasn't enough as the Spirit went on to win the game and the match 25-18.
