WBB Head Coach Milee Karre

Milee Karre

Milee Karre enters his second season as the head coach at OUAZ. Previously, Karre served as the interim head coach at Grand Canyon University.

For the last five years, Karre was an assistant coach with the Grand Canyon women’s basketball program. While on the sidelines with coach Trent May, Karre has helped the Lopes to more than 80 wins on the court. 

Karre was a member of the GCU men’s basketball team from 2005-09. He played in 105 games over four seasons, leading the Antelopes in assists to turnover ratio (3:1) during his senior season in 2008-09. Karre’s best season statistically was in 2007-08 when he played in 27 games and averaged 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.

A native of Buckeye, Ariz., Karre was a three-time all-region selection and West Valley Region Most Valuable Player in 2005 at Buckeye Union High School.

Upon graduation from GCU in 2009, Karre worked at an advertising agency, where his clients included Right Guard, Dial for Men and NBA superstar Kevin Love, among others.
