Trey Keeler grew up in Gallup, New Mexico playing football and baseball. He excelled in football playing quarterback and linebacker at Miyamura High School before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for his senior season to play linebacker. He graduated in 2020 before continuing football and education at East Texas A&M University. He played there from 2020-2023 then transferred to Judson University to play quarterback and would then coach there before graduating in 2025.
