Originally from Germantown, TN, and Boston, MA, Matt Needham is a former Division I offensive lineman at UT Martin, where he played from 2019 to 2021 before a neck injury led to a medical retirement. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a focus in Sport Coaching from the University of Memphis before joining the staff at OUAZ.

Coming from a strong football background—his father played at the University of Tennessee and his brother currently plays at Rice—Needham brings knowledge, passion, and a player-first mindset to his coaching career.
