A Dallas, Texas native, Jackson brings six years of college football experience, having played collegiate football at all three NCAA levels. He began his playing career at Austin College (DIII) from 2019 to 2022, before transferring to Valdosta State (DII) from 2022 to 2023, where he helped the program win a conference championship in his final year. In 2024, he reached the Division I level at the University of New Mexico, playing under Head Coach Bronco Mendenhall.

Jackson earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Valdosta State and went on to complete his master’s degree in Project Management at UNM. After volunteering with the UNM football staff during the spring, he was officially hired as the running backs coach in a graduate assistant role.

His brother plays basketball at Missouri State University, and his sister works as the team photographer for the Arizona Cardinals.
