Cole Peterson joined the OUAZ staff in 2019 and is in his second season coaching the Spirit defensive backs.
Peterson came to OUAZ after a stop as defensive coordinator at North Canyon High School. That followed three years as the defensive pass game coordinator and defensive backs coach at Desert Mountain High School. Peterson began his coaching career at Horizon High School as the receivers coach.
While in high school and college, Peterson interned with the Kansas City Chiefs where he assisted the coaching, video, and equipment staff during training camps. Additionally, he has experience working for the top player agency in the NFL and in litigation on behalf of college football student-athletes, among many other football endeavors.
Peterson earned his B.S. in Marketing from Arizona State University and Juris Doctor from ASU in 2015.
