OUAZ Athletics

In his second year with OUAZ, Coach Johnson was born and raised in Chandler, AZ is a graduate of Perry High School (2016) and went on to pitch for Paradise Valley CC in Phoenix, AZ. Upon completing his associates, he transferred to Doane University in Crete, NE where he was a first team all conference (GPAC) relief pitcher his senior year (2022) and left Doane as a three time GPAC champion with three NAIA opening round appearances. He also had a two year stint as pitching coach at Sequoia Pathway Academy in Maricopa, AZ.  He will be working on his MBA while assisting the OUAZ Spirit pitchers.
