OUAZ Athletics

Evan Berliner enters his second season as an assistant coach with the OUAZ baseball team. Berliner will be in charge of the outfielders.

Berliner joins the Spirit, following a successful three year playing career at NCAA Division III Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Career Notes: Two-year letterwinner.

2016 Season: Played in 24 contest, including 17 as a starter...hit .222 with 14 hits and six runs run scored in 63 at bats...recorded three doubles and drove in four runs. 

2015 Season: Played in 14 games for the Bluejays, while starting eight...hit .258 in 39 at bats, scoring five runs and knocking in four. 

2014 Season: Attended College of Lake County but did not play baseball.

High School: Earned a pair of varsity letters from Warren Township High School...served as team captain during his senior year.
