Lompoc, Calif.-- The Ottawa University Arizona women's golf team turned in a strong performance at the GSAC Championship, finishing second out of six teams at La Purisima Golf Course in Lompoc, California. The Spirit posted a three-round total of 984 (+120) to secure the runner-up spot in the conference tournament.
Chiara Israng led OUAZ with an impressive third-place individual finish, carding a 238 (+22) over three rounds. Jenney Kim Song followed with a tie for 11th at 248 (+32), while Alayna Lekkerkerk placed 13th with a score of 249 (+33). Macie Doherty added a 15th-place finish at 252 (+36), and Anne Van Hemert rounded out the lineup in 20th at 261 (+45).
The Spirit placed multiple golfers inside the top 15, highlighting a consistent team effort across the championship field.
