San Dimas, Calif. — The OUAZ Spirit men's basketball team earned a hard-fought victory over the Life Pacific Warriors, turning a tightly contested battle into a late surge down the stretch. After trading points throughout the first half, the Spirit elevated their play in the closing minutes to secure the win.

1st half (37-36): The opening half was a back-and-forth battle, with neither team able to gain separation. Carter Gittens delivered an impressive performance, pouring in 17 points and grabbing 3 rebounds to lead the Spirit offense. Kyle Haslam made his presence felt on the glass, pulling down 4 rebounds as OUAZ stayed locked in with the Warriors heading into halftime.

2nd half (76-64): The second half remained tight until the final five minutes, when the Spirit found another gear and pulled away. Zeke Viuhkola led the charge with 14 points, while Carter Gittens continued his strong night with 11 points and 7 rebounds, helping OUAZ close out the game with confidence.
