Box Score GLENDALE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's volleyball team put up a fight in three tightly contested sets on Tuesday night but ultimately fell to Arizona Christian. The loss ended the Spirit's program-record streak of 19 consecutive sets won, the longest in OUAZ history. Despite strong performances from multiple players, the Firestorm held on to sweep the match and halt the Spirit's historic run.

Set 1 (17-25): The opening frame was a back-and-forth battle as the Spirit and the Firestorm traded points early. However, ACU managed to seize momentum late and hold on to take the set. Lauren Wamsley led the Spirit attack with four kills, while Jessica Pearce added three kills to keep OUAZ within striking distance.

Set 2 (22-25): The Spirit once again found themselves in a tight, back-and-forth battle with the Firestorm. OUAZ made a late push, scoring four straight points to close the gap, but it wasn't enough as ACU held on to take the set. Wamsley added an ace from the service line, Pearce tallied four kills, and Delaney Wilson provided a spark off the bench with two timely kills right after checking in.

Set 3 (22-25): The final set mirrored much of the match as the Spirit continued to battle but ultimately couldn't overcome the Firestorm's momentum. Pearce stayed consistent at the net with four kills, while Keira Adrian chipped in with three kills to keep OUAZ in the fight. Despite the effort, ACU closed out the set and secured the sweep.
