SURPRISE, Ariz. – The OUAZ women's soccer team fell 0-4 to Park Gilbert on Saturday in GSAC conference play. Despite a strong defensive effort early, the Spirit couldn't slow down the Buccaneers' attack as Park capitalized on their chances. OUAZ continued to battle until the final whistle and will look to regroup as they prepare for their next conference matchup.
Park Gilbert broke through late in the first half, finding the net just before the break to take a 1-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Buccaneers added three more goals — including two scored in back-to-back minutes — to extend their lead and put the match out of reach.
Despite the 0-4 loss, OUAZ continued to battle across the field, creating opportunities and maintaining energy through the full 90 minutes. The Spirit showed determination and resilience, and they'll look to regroup for their next GSAC matchup.
