SURPRISE, Ariz. – The wait is over! OUAZ Football has officially released its 2025 schedule—and it marks the beginning of a brand-new era under Head Coach Reilly Murphy, who's ready to bring high-powered offense and championship energy to Spirit Field.

Murphy, introduced back in April, brings an impressive resume to Surprise. Most recently, he was the Assistant AD and Offensive Coordinator at St. Thomas University (FL), where his squad finished No. 5 in the NAIA and averaged nearly 44 points per game in 2024. He's also made an impact at several NCAA DII and NAIA programs, leading record-breaking offenses and helping teams climb the ranks.

Now, he's ready to lead the Spirit back to the NAIA National Championship Series after a strong 8-2 season that saw OUAZ finish second in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) and ranked No. 16 in the final coaches poll. The Spirit offense was electric—averaging 45.5 points per game, second-best in the nation.

Oct. 4 at Langston | 12 PM MST | Langston, OK
This one's always a battle. OUAZ held on for a 42-32 win last season.

Oct. 11 at Texas College | 11 AM MST | Tyler, TX
Big-time SAC showdown. OUAZ took care of business 51-26 last time around.

Oct. 18 vs. Arizona Christian | 7 PM MST | Spirit Field
Rivalry renewed! The Firestorm return to Spirit Field for the first time since 2023. Expect fireworks.

Nov. 1 vs. Arkansas Baptist | 7 PM MST | Spirit Field
OUAZ dropped 85 points in last year's win.

The 70th NAIA Football National Championship Series kicks off Nov. 22, with the title game set for Dec. 20. OUAZ is locked in on getting back to the big stage.
