OUAZ battled through early offensive challenges, finding traction late in the first half to pull within a single point at the break. Quarterback Luke Giron showed toughness and command despite heavy pressure from repeated blitz looks, completing timely throws to Matthew Hicks and Marques Reese before exiting in the third quarter due to an injury on a late hit. Hicks finished with 74 receiving yards, while Reese added 67 yards on two catches. Running back Jordan Johnson carried the load on the ground, posting 90 yards on 11 carries and consistently creating positive plays to keep the offense in manageable situations.

Defensively, the Spirit continued to show the grit and discipline that have defined them all season. OUAZ held strong through difficult field positions and extended drives, with Ryan Guerrero leading the unit with eight tackles. Sione Latu added seven, and Charles Jackson, Justice Sosnicki, and Corey Floyd Jr. each recorded six stops as the Spirit defense once again demonstrated why it remains one of the most respected groups in the country.

With the regular season now complete, OUAZ will be Sooner Athletic Conference Co-Champions, joining Texas Wesleyan and Louisiana Christian atop the standings. The Spirit will now await Sunday's NAIA Football Championship Series Selection Show to learn their postseason path.
