RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The OUAZ men's soccer team battled hard on the road but ultimately fell 0–2 to La Sierra in a GSAC match up on Tuesday evening.
The Spirit came out with intensity, holding their own through much of the first half and creating early chances on the attack. Despite their efforts, the Spirit couldn't capitalize on their opportunities, while La Sierra struck first in the 20th minute and again in the 29th minute to take a 2–0 lead into the break.
In the second half, the Spirit continued to press forward, showing resilience until the final whistle, but were unable to find a breakthrough against a disciplined La Sierra defense.
