SAN DIMAS, Calif. — The OUAZ women's volleyball team fought through a competitive four-set match against the Life Pacific Warriors, showcasing resilience and determination throughout the night. Despite several strong runs and standout individual performances, the Spirit ultimately came up short, but their grit and intensity were on full display in another hard-fought GSAC matchup.

Set 1 (27-25): The opening set was a hard-fought battle, as the Life Pacific Warriors came out strong and controlled the early points. However, the Spirit found their rhythm midway through, mounting an impressive comeback to take the set. Amey Rainaud sparked the rally with two aces, while Ana Newcomb added one of her own. At the net, Gloria Moye and Jessica Pearce each tallied five kills to power the Spirit's late surge and secure the momentum.

Set 2 (25-10): The Spirit took full control in the second set with a dominant showing that featured a remarkable 14-0 run. Rainaud was unstoppable from the service line, firing off four aces, while Lauren Wamsley added two more to keep the Warriors on their heels. Pearce anchored the defense at the net with three blocks, and Nina Peay contributed three kills to help the Spirit cruise to a commanding set victory.

Set 3 (19-25): Set three was a hard-fought battle from start to finish, with neither team able to gain much separation. Kaiden Raif opened strong with a powerful ace, followed by additional aces from Rainaud and Wamsley. Wamsley also tallied two kills, while Pearce added three more at the net. Despite the Spirit's steady play and intensity throughout, the Warriors ultimately edged out the set in a close finish.

Set 4 (29-27): Set four was another intense and hard-fought battle, with the Warriors carrying much of the momentum early on. However, the Spirit refused to back down, continuing to fight for every point. Wamsley delivered a standout performance with an impressive nine kills in the set, while Peay added four of her own to keep the Spirit within striking distance throughout the frame.
