Box Score SURPRISE, Ariz. — The Spirit came up short on Saturday, falling 0-2 to Life Pacific in a competitive GSAC matchup that was scoreless through the first half.
The first half was a tight defensive battle, with both teams trading possessions and limiting scoring opportunities. The Spirit held strong defensively and created several promising looks in the attack but couldn't find the breakthrough before halftime.
Life Pacific opened the scoring in the 57th minute, converting from the penalty spot to take a 0-1 lead. Just three minutes later, the Warriors added another goal in the 60th minute to extend their advantage. The Spirit continued to press in the closing stages, generating chances but unable to find the back of the net. Despite the loss, the effort reflected the team's determination and focus in another hard-fought GSAC contest.
