Following an excellent final season at OUAZ, forward McKay Bundy was named to the NCCAA All-American First Team. Bundy, who was a key player for the Spirit in a third consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearance, was also named to the GSAC All-Conference team.
Bundy finished inside the top 10 in the conference in many categories, including points per game (seventh), rebounds per game (sixth), and field goal percentage (fifth). The Modesto, Calif. native averaged 15.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, and shot 58.4% from the field.
Bundy was a reliable option for the Spirit all season long, starting and playing in all 30 games and averaging the most minutes per game in the GSAC (33.8). He was also a force on the glass, grabbing 170 defensive rebounds (fourth in GSAC) and 52 offensive rebounds (seventh) for total of 222 rebounds (fifth).
