Prescott, Ariz. — The Spirit stayed within striking distance early but were unable to overcome a steady performance from the Eagles, falling despite continued effort and balance across both halves.

• 1st half (26-35): Embry-Riddle controlled the tempo in the opening half, but the Spirit remained competitive and within reach. Max Mkpa led the way early with six points and three rebounds, while Zeke Viuhkola added five points and a rebound to keep the Spirit in contention heading into the break.

• 2nd half (54-69): The Spirit attempted to spark a comeback in the second half, but the Eagles answered each push to maintain control. Jack Galiardi contributed six points and four rebounds, providing energy on both ends of the floor. Nkpa followed with five points and a rebound, while Viuhkola added another five points and a rebound, but it was not enough to close the gap as the Spirit ultimately fell to the Eagles.
