ATHERTON, CALIF. – In a match with huge NAIA National Tournament implications, the third-ranked OUAZ men's volleyball team took a statement win away on Saturday afternoon. The Spirit defeated #6 Menlo in straight sets, sweeping the season series from the Oaks.

Menlo scored no more than 21 points in a set, and OUAZ allowed less than ten kills in the first and third sets. The Spirit had a .450 hitting percentage, and held the Oaks to a .274 percentage.

Emery Outin and Addah Nestor were outstanding once again, as they both finished with double-digit kills. Outin had 15 kills while converting nearly .600 percent of his attempts, and Nestor had 12 kills while also pitching in three assists.

Blake Music had a solid effort, finishing with seven kills and a pair of block assists. Zeo Meyer had 33 assists, once again averaging more than 10 assists per set, to go along with four kills and two service aces.
