For the fourth time this season, the OUAZ men's basketball team hit the century mark as they defeated Jessup University on Saturday 100-94 in front of a vocal crowd inside Faith Arena.

The game was highlighted by junior guard
Jayce Catchings, becoming the third player in OUAZ  history to score 1,000 points. He joins
Josiah De'laCerda (1,417) and Dimetres Moore (1,073) as the only members of the "1k club" at OUAZ.

Catchings finished with 18 points, five rebounds and four assists. Leading the way for the Spirit was forward
Elijah Simmons with 25 points. Guard
Jacob Henry poured in 22 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out six assists. Forward
Bryce Fitzgerald came off the bench to score 16 points, grab four rebounds and three steals. Guard
McKay Bundy added 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds.

The team (17-6, 6-3 GSAC) will now embark on a three-game road trip against Life Pacific (Pasadena) and The Master's University (Santa Clarita). The road trip ends at 17th-ranked ACU on Saturday, Feb. 17.
