SURPRISE, ARIZ. – Following its big win over sixth-ranked Menlo last Friday, the OUAZ men's volleyball team came out firing on all cylinders on Monday. The Spirit earned a straight-sets victory at Faith Arena, sweeping the season over Park-Gilbert.

OUAZ was efficient offensively, hitting .338 and finishing with 36 kills. Defensively the Spirit were just as good, holding the Buccaneers to a .000 attack percentage.

Horatio Maumasi led the match in kills, finishing with 11 and having a .529 hit percentage. Addah Nestor had another solid evening, as he finished with 10 kills and a .600 attack percentage.

Coming off a fantastic week, Zeo Meyer once again led a match in assists, this time finishing with 21. On top of that, Meyer had three services errors and finished with five digs.

The Spirit are not done for the week, as they will host seventh-ranked Benedictine Mesa on Tuesday evening. First serve from Faith Arena is set for 6 p.m.
