For the third consecutive game, and fifth in the last six,
Brianna Humphries recorded a double-double for the OUAZ women's basketball team as they fell to Arizona Christian 72-59 at the ACU Events Center on Saturday.

The Dixon, California sophomore scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (all defensive) in the contest. With the loss, the Spirit (8-12, 0-12 GSAC) recorded more steals than their opponents (8-7) for the fifth straight game, and 14th time this season.

Four Spirit players scored in double figures, led by
Angel Addleman's 19 points.
Tiana Sledge scored 11, while
Marlee Johnson had 10 to close out the quartet.

"Â The team is competing with some of the top teams in the GSAC and really taking them to task," Head Coach
Bob Henige said after the game. "We continue to get better Day by Day. The future looks bright for OUAZ women's basketball."
The team's eight assists were tied for the second fewest on the season (four against Justice College on Dec. 19, 2023).
