OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. – The OUAZ men's basketball bounced back to finish the week strong before returning home with a victory over Missouri Baptist (0-2), 102-67. The win puts the Spirit at 2-2 on the season. 
The Spirit put on a strong shooting display as they shot 57.89% from the field and a terrific 55% from three on 34 attempts. OUAZ would get major contributions from the bench with 42 points. Their offense would also take advantage of their strong defensive performance, scoring 18 points off of turnovers.
Four Spirit players finished with double-digit points, led by Quinn Thorne (18pts, 4 rebounds, on 67% shooting). Jack Galiardi added to the winning effort (16pts, 4 rebounds, on 67% shooting). OUAZ also got key contributions from Reggie Orr, who had 11 rebounds, and Gelo Gil who had nine assists on the day. 
OUAZ will return to Faith Arena for the first time this season with their home opener on Tuesday November 5th at 5pm against Nobel, and will play Justice College at home on Wednesday November 6th at 6pm.
