Santa Clarita, CA.- The Spirit had a tough day as they fell on the road to GSAC leader The Master's (7-6-2 Overall, 7-2-2 Conference) 5-1. The loss puts the Spirit at 6-5-4 on the year and 3-5-3 in conference play.
The Master's struck first in the 24th minute of play with a goal by Tyler Mora (First of the Season), assisted Trent Rickard. Mora would go on to get his second goal of the game in the 26th minute of action (Second on the Season), assisted by Trent Rickard. The Spirit would respond with a goal of their own in the 29th minute by Alvaro Hormigos (Third on the Season), assisted by Jamaine Turner. The Mustangs would strike again in the 36th with a goal by Trent Rickard (Ninth on the Season), assisted by Caden Zierenberg. This would end the first half scoring as the Spirit would head into the half trailing 3-1.
The Master's started the second half scoring with another goal by Trent Rickard (Tenth of the Season) in the 63rd minute, assisted by Adiel Kaduya. Rickard would then add his third goal of the game (Eleventh on the Season) in the 66th minute of action, assisted by Adiel Kaduya, to give himself the hat-trick on the day. The defense would be the only factor for either team the remainder of the game, as the final score would be a 5-1 loss to the Mustangs.
