Spirit Get Ninth Defensive Shutout of the Season as They Tie Final Home Game of 2024

Surprise, ARIZ.- A defensive battle ensued in the Spirit's final home game of the season as they tied Embry-Riddle (6-4-6 Overall, 6-2-4 Conference) 0-0. The tie puts the Spirit at 6-5-5 on the year and 3-5-4 in conference play.

The defenses for both teams dominated the first half as both teams were shutout to send both teams into the locker room with a 0-0 tie. The Spirit ended the half with four total shots (Zero on Goal), with the Eagles having a total of 10 shots (Two on Goal).

The defensive battle continued in the second half as the game would end in a 0-0 tie. Both teams had goals overturned on offsides penalties. The Spirit ended the game with a total of eight shots (One on Goal), and the Eagles finished the day with 18 shots (Six on Goal).
