Gilbert, ARIZ.- A defensive battle ensued in Gilbert on Saturday evening as the Spirit and Park Gilbert (4-4-4 Overall, 2-2-4 Conference) ended their match in a 0-0 tie. The tie puts the Spirit 5-3-4 on the year and 2-3-3 in conference play.

Defense was the highlight for both teams in this contest as OUAZ was able to get 5 total shots, with only two of them being on goal, while Park Gilbert only had two shots with neither of them being on goal. This is the seventh time this season that the Spirit defense has shut out an opponent.
