The OUAZ bowling team traveled to Las Vegas to participate in the Sin City Open on Friday, January 26th at the Orleans Bowling Center.
 
Freshman Garrett Plum finished 15th in the tournament with an average of 213.2 across five games.  The Anchorage, Alaska native rolled a 1066 series on the challenging "Great Wall of China" oil pattern, with a very impressive 238 in the first game and 236 in the third game of the day.
 
Junior Mike Wallace Jr. came in 38th with a 161.6 average, knocking down 808 pins, including a season-best 176 in the day's fourth game.
 
The women's team was well-represented in the top 15, with Maddisen Ann Rook (191.4), who finished third in the field.  Zoe Waltosz (139.6) and Emma Hill (137.0) finished in 12th and 13th, respectively.
 
The team will participate in the two-day Rebel Classic starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
