Spirit Move to Sixth Nationally, ACU and Master's Up Next

Surprise, Ariz. – The OUAZ Men's Volleyball team (4-2) is set for two consecutive conference matchups this week. They will play Wednesday night on the road at Arizona Christian (2-3) at 6 pm MST. A few days later the good guys in orange will be back at Faith Arena for a Saturday afternoon battle with The Masters (6-2) at 1 pm MST.
 
Ottawa Arizona heads into this week's matchups undefeated all-time against Arizona Christian and The Master's. They have an 11-0 record all-time versus the Firestorm, dating back to the 2019 season. Against The Master's, they are 8-0 all-time dating back 2020.
 
In the most recent NAIA rankings, the Spirit stand at No. 6, while the top four teams all reside within the GSAC conference, with Vanguard currently holding the top spot.
 
OUAZ is coming off of a tough home loss against now No. 2 ranked Menlo, 3-1. Spirit junior Emery Outin and graduate Blake Music were the stars for the team. The two each tallied double-digit kills (Outin - 25; Music - 13) in a tough matchup between nationally ranked teams.
