The OUAZ men's basketball team opened the 2023-24 season with an 87-79 victory over Carroll College from Montana in the Fultz Memorial Classic being hosted by Arizona Christian University. 

• Bryce Fitzgerald scored a game-high 24 points in 28 minutes of play. 
• The entire OUAZ starting lineup scored double figures. 
• Nine of the ten players that played recorded at least one rebound. 

"I feel really good about our performance today," head coach Matt Keeley said upon returning to campus.  "Especially with so many new guys and it being the first outing of the year.  We certainly have some things to shore up on the defense end, but really liked how hard we played and how we rebounded." 

The team will face Rocky Mountain College tomorrow to close out the Fultz Memorial Classic at Noon.
