In an excellent early season contest, the OUAZ men's basketball team fell to a very game Rocky Mountain College squad by a 100-98 score.
- The entire starting lineup for the Spirit (1-1) again scored in double-figures.
- Jayce Catchings led all scorers with 28 points.
- Jacob Henry made seven three-point baskets. That is tied for the third most in school history, just one off the school record held by both Brian King Jr. (12/15/18) and Marcus Williams (2/28/19).
- The 14 three-point shots that Henry took are tied for the most in school history with King Jr's Dec. 15,2018, game.
- McKay Bundy continues his school-record 71 consecutive games played streak.
- Rocky Mountain (2-1) leads the all-time series 3-1. This was the highest scoring game in the short history of the series.
OUAZ will travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Stars of Oklahoma City University on Thursday, Nov. 9. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Arizona. Follow on OUAZSpirit.com for more coverage.
