Spirit Rally, But Fall in Five

The OUAZ Spirit Women's Volleyball team fell to the Life Pacific Warriors 3-2 (21-25, 25-20, 25-23, 16-25, 11-15) in San Dimas, California at the 2023 GSAC Women's Volleyball Tournament.
  • OUAZ (15-13) rallied to win sets two and three after dropping the first set.
  • With her 14 kills, Gloria Moye finished the season with three straight matches of getting 10+ kills (when playing four or more sets).
  • Rylie Henige had 13 kills, giving her 13 matches of double-figure kills.
  • Jessica Pearce had four blocks, her seventh match this season with four or more.
  • Cristal Carrizoza had 50 assists and 14 digs, her sixth of the season.
  • The Spirit played Life Pacific three times this season, each time going one set longer than the previous (Sept. 16th, three sets at Faith Arena, Oct. 13th, four sets in San Dimas, and then tonight).
With the loss, the 2023 season concludes.
