TEMPE, Ariz.  - The Spirit had a back and forth battle Saturday afternoon against the Bucs, putting up six runs but wasn't enough as they surrendered seven. OUAZ will play Park-Gilbert twice more this season, once in February and another in March. 

Evan Massie knotched a quality start on the mound, throwing five innings and giving up three earned. He also punched out six batters in his first outing of the season. 

Leadoff hitter Bradley Wilkison and Rene Brockman each tallied two hits and RBI's for OUAZ, the standouts in the lineup Saturday. 

Up next for the men in orange is a three-game series with the University of British Columbia at home, Feb. 2-4.
