2022 Women's Volleyball Notes -- Week 7

With its five-match homestand complete, the OUAZ women's volleyball team will head to northern California to play a pair of matches over the weekend. OUAZ will begin the trip on Friday at William Jessup in Rocklin before facing Menlo on Saturday in Atherton.

The Spirit takes to the road with an 8-7 overall record and winners of four of their past five matches. They are tied for fifth in the GSAC with a 3-3 record in conference matches. They have gone 0-2 in road matches, and 2-4 in all matches played away from home this season.

OUAZ is averaging 11.71 kills per set while posting a .170 attack percentage. They have recorded 50-plus kills in a match three times and six times hit above .200. To go with the attack numbers, OUAZ is posting 1.60 service aces per set with three matches with 11-plus aces.

Defensively, OUAZ is holding its opponents to .143 hitting and an average of 11.41 kills per set. That is accomplished by posting 16.43 digs and 1.80 blocks per set.

Livia De Pra is second in the GSAC and 60th in the NAIA, with an average of 3.36 kills per set. She has been in double figures 10 times this season. De Pra is hitting .209, adding 22 service aces and 161 digs with eight double-doubles. She needs 77 kills and 46 digs to become the first player in program history to reach the 500-500 club.

Logan Kuehn leads the GSAC with 380 assists and is second at 7.31 assists per set. She posted a career-high 52 assists against Doane and has four double-doubles and 18 aces.

Jessica Pearce ranks second in the GSAC with 54 total blocks for an average of 0.96 blocks per set. She has recorded at least one block in all but one match while adding 74 kills and 12 aces.

Kenzie Kuxhaus is second in the GSAC with 22 digs and 4.19 digs per set. She has recorded 20-plus digs in a match five times and been in double figures 11 times.
