2022 Women's Volleyball Notes -- Week 6

Following a home weekend where they picked up a pair of victories, the OUAZ women's volleyball team remains in Surprise for three matches. The stretch starts on Friday against No. 21 Vanguard and then sees San Diego Christian on Saturday. The Spirit then welcomes West Coast Baptist on Monday.

The Spirit will enter the week with a 6-6 overall record after securing those two wins last weekend. They are tied for fifth in the GSAC with a 2-2 record in conference play. OUAZ has a 4-2 record in Faith Arena.

OUAZ is averaging 11.65 kills per set while posting a .160 attack percentage. They have recorded 50-plus kills in a match three times and four times hit above .200. To go with the attack numbers, OUAZ is posting 1.44 service aces per set and twice has notched 11 aces in a match.

Defensively, OUAZ is holding its opponents to .158 hitting and an average of 11.92 kills per set. That is accomplished by posting 16.33 digs and 1.69 blocks per set.

Livia De Pra is second in the GSAC and 56th in the NAIA, with an average of 3.38 kills per set. She has been in double figures nine times this season. De Pra is hitting .204, adding 16 service aces and 132 digs with seven double-doubles.

Logan Kuehn leads the GSAC with 308 assists and with her average of 7.00 assists per set. She posted a career-high 52 assists against Doane and has three double-doubles and 14 aces.

Jessica Pearce ranks second in the GSAC with 44 total blocks for an average of 0.92 blocks per set. She has recorded at least one block in every match this season while adding 64 kills and 12 aces.

Kenzie Kuxhaus is third in the GSAC with 187 digs and 4.16 digs per set. She has recorded 20-plus digs in a match five times, been in double figures nine times, and in the last seven consecutive outings.
