2022 Women's Volleyball Notes -- Week 8 -- ACU

The OUAZ women's volleyball team makes a quick stop at Faith Arena to host Arizona Christian on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The match leads into a second consecutive weekend in California.

The Spirit brings a 9-8 overall record into the midweek match after splitting two matches last weekend. OUAZ is alone in fifth place in the GSAC with a 4-4 record in conference play. They are 6-3 at home and winners of two straight at Faith Arena.

OUAZ is averaging 11.63 kills per set while posting a .168 attack percentage. They have recorded 50-plus kills in a match three times and six times hit above .200. To go with the attack numbers, OUAZ is posting 1.60 service aces per set with three matches with 11-plus aces.

Defensively, OUAZ is holding its opponents to .149 hitting and an average of 11.58 kills per set. That is accomplished by posting 16.22 digs and 1.73 blocks per set.

Livia De Pra is second in the GSAC and 65th in the NAIA, averaging 3.33 kills per set. She has been in double figures 12 times this season. De Pra is hitting .205, adding 22 service aces and 181 digs with eight double-doubles. She needs 55 kills and 26 digs to become the first player in program history to reach the 500-500 club.

Logan Kuehn ranks second in the GSAC with 443 assists and first at 7.51 assists per set. She posted a career-high 52 assists against Doane and has four double-doubles. Her 23 aces are fifth-most in the conference.

Jessica Pearce ranks second in the GSAC with 59 total blocks for an average of 0.74 blocks per set. She has recorded at least one block in all but one match while adding 86 kills and 12 aces.

Kenzie Kuxhaus is fifth in the GSAC with 244 digs while averaging 4.07 digs per set. She has recorded 20-plus digs in a match five times and been in double figures 12 times.
