2022 Women's Volleyball Notes -- Week 11

With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the OUAZ women's volleyball team returns home to host a pair of home matches. OUAZ will begin the weekend with a visit from Menlo on Friday at 6 p.m. The Spirit will then host William Jessup on Saturday at 1 p.m.

OUAZ will head into the final home weekend of the season with a 13-11 overall record. They currently sit sixth in the GSAC standings with an 8-7 record in league play. The Spirit holds a magic number of four to clinch a spot in next month's GSAC Tournament.

Entering the weekend, OUAZ is fifth in the conference, averaging 11.75 kills per set, and they place seventh with a .160 attack percentage. The Spirit is 9-0 this season when finishing a match with more kills than the opposition.

The Spirit opponents average 11.7 kills per set with a .144 attack percentage. OUAZ slows the opponent's attack by ranking third in the league at 17.09 digs per set. They also average 1.74 blocks and 1.57 service aces per set.

Livia De Pra is second in the GSAC and 69th in the NAIA, averaging 3.31 kills per set. She has been in double figures 18 times this season. De Pra is hitting .174, adding 28 aces and 275 digs. Earlier this season, De Pra became the first player in program history with 500 kills and 500 digs in their OUAZ career.

Logan Kuehn currently leads the GSAC with 705 assists and 8.10 assists per set. She posted a career-high 56 assists in the earlier win over ACU. Kuehn also leads the team and ranks sixth in the GSAC with 34 service aces.

Jessica Pearce ranks second in the GSAC with 84 total blocks and 0.92 per set. She has recorded at least one block in all but two matches while adding 132 kills on .173 hitting.

Kenzie Kuxhaus has moved into the conference lead with her 397 total digs while holding second at 4.51 digs per set. She has posted 20-plus digs in a match nine times, with a season-high 31 at San Diego Christian last Friday.
