The OUAZ women's soccer team looks to continue perfection in its first two-game week of the season. The Spirit will be away for both contests, across town in Glendale for rival Arizona Christian on Tuesday, and up to Rocklin to see William Jessup on Saturday.

Facing off against the Firestorm has been successful for OUAZ, as they hold a 3-1-1 record all-time in the series and are on a three-game undefeated streak. The Spirit's only loss to ACU came on October 12, 2017.

Similar success has been found when matching up with William Jessup. The Spirit have won both meeting against the Warriors, and have outscored them 5-1. Last season's matchup in Rocklin saw the Spirit score three unanswered goals in the second half after trailing 1-0.

Scoring goals has not been an issue at all for OUAZ, as they have scored at least two goals in every game and eight total over the last two contests. Those eight goals are the best in the GSAC for conference matches, and the 12 goals on the season are second-most in the conference despite only playing four games.

The scoring has not been just one player either, as seven different players have scored goals, with Saipress Jones, Emily Lynch, Sydnee Busby and Haley Howard each scoring twice. OUAZ ranks in the top 50 in both assists per game (2.3) and goals per game (3.0).

Cassidy Samuelsson is having herself a good freshman season so far, ranking fourth in the GSAC in save percentage (.846) goals against average (0.91). She is a part of a keeper tandem with Chloe Gutierrez that has posted a top 50 saves per game mark in the NAIA, stopping 6.8 shots per contest.

Arizona Christian is allowing a limited number of spectators at the game on Tuesday, and fans are subject to a COVID-19 screening before entering the facility. William Jessup is not allowing spectators at its facility in Rocklin.
